About Phil N. Goode’s
We are the successor to the Cat’s Pajamas of Houston and Catnip Inn, where it was all about the kitties!
Our mission is to provide life changing, quality services to the feline community in a feline only space. Cats often do not receive the specialized and unique care that they need and deserve in spaces that also facilitate dogs, as dogs need so much attention. Even pet care veterans seldom understand cat behavior, psychology, and sometimes physiology, so we at Phil N. Goode’s are dedicated to providing cat expertise, memorable experiences, and most importantly, services that benefit our feline companions! It is our mission to have your Neat Cat feelin’ good!
Our owner, CEO, and groomer, Hannah, has committed to learning everything she can about cats and providing care for them so that they and their people can live happier lives together.
She has had and groomed her own cats since 2013, and began formally studying cat grooming with the National Cat Groomers Institute in early 2023. She came to The Cat’s Pajamas of Houston in October of that year for experience, and ten days afterwards, the owner of the business (and only other employee) became too ill to continue working and was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately the owner’s condition deteriorated and she was unable to return to work, so very sadly, the Cat’s Pajamas of Houston was forced to close, but Hannah is keeping that dream of changing cats’ lives alive by continuing the good service our clients have come to expect.
